As part of our Harry Potter topic, Year 5 have made their own owls and these are now on display in the classroom. The children used their imaginations to decide what a ‘magical’ owl would look like and they really enjoyed using lots of feathers and glitter.
Well done to Nicole and Katie who have done some extra work on our science topic at home. one day we got in to groups to do a experiment to see if we could make the tallest tower with spaghetti and marshmallow tower and my group had the tallest tower it was 50cm it was really fun we went with abigails idea that was the tallest tower we made.
We made a hogwarts out of plastericine it was we had a book called a world of food . So we thought to do hogwarts do do with the Harry Potter topic.
I enjoyed writing week,the bit I liked the most was the group work because we made things with modeling clay.
In writing week we have made our own Hogwarts out of plastericine or a clay.We made fudge walls and dark chocolate towers with icecream peeks it looked cool.
I loved creating our plasticine models! Me, Keiron and Llayton all worked in a group. We each created more than one thing. Our land was called Jelly-Land!
