Year 3 Explore our New Class Library Books
This week we have purchased 30 new books for our class library. Today the children got the chance to explore the new books. We have some fiction and non-fiction books that cover a range of topics. The children looked after the books carefully and shared with their friends. Which book did you enjoy?
Assembly 2016
Today Year 3 performed their Design and Technology assembly for their parents and the other children and staff in the school. They did extremely well and enjoyed sharing what they had learned with others.
Let’s Get Sugar Smart
The children have been learning about the amount of sugar in different foods and drinks as part of a healthy lifestyle. There is an app that can be downloaded to check the amount of sugar contained in products by scanning the bar code.
ART
This week we started our new art topic. To begin this topic the children first learnt and experimented how our eyes see colour. They then moved on to the art of colour mixing.
