Rounders at the Borough Games

Today some children from Year 5 and 6 competed in the Borough Games playing rounders. Mrs.Norbury was very proud of the girls who were representing Royton, Shaw and Crompton.  They played very well and showed good sportsmanship.

Finding out about Friction

In Science today we learned about how things travel on different surfaces. We  first looked at a cyclist and what would happen if he traveled on grass, the road, gravel and sand. Year 6 At Castleshaw

Music Festival Photos – Beauty and the Beast

Grammar Challenge

Today the children completed a group Grammar challenge. They had to work as a team to answer the given questions to consolidate their Grammar knowledge. They did very well and earned a number of house points!

Finding the Perimeter

In Maths today we learned to find the perimeter of shapes using cm. In our maths groups we worked collaboratively to complete a perimeter challenge and measure accurately.

Junior Sports Day
