Year 5’s Class Assembly

The Year 5 Owlery
This term Year 5’s topic is Harry Potter so the children have made their own owl to go on display in the Owlery. The children were allowed to chose from a variety of materials to decorate their owls and, as you can see, they really help to brighten up the classroom.
Deciding the Sizes of the Earth, Sun and Moon
In Year 5 this half term our Science topic has been’Earth and Space’. One of our activities was to examine a variety of spheres and decide which ones would best show the relative sizes of the Earth, Sun and Moon. We worked in groups and collaborated well and shared our ideas sensibly.
