Making Maori Bread

As part of our Islands Topic, Year 5 have made Maori Bread this afternoon.  The bread is made without yeast and sugar, and is cooked in a frying pan.  It took us a few goes to perfect the recipe and get the right amount of sugar, but in the end the bread tasted lovely.

ART- Roman Bullas

The children have been designing their own Bullas over the past couple of weeks as part of our History topic of the Romans. This week they made and sewed their own and below are the results of the first group. I wonder what their wishes were that they put inside!? Well done guys!

GMP ‘Actions have Consequences’ 2017

Beal Vale had a visit from the GMP last week and Years 5 and 6 had a really interesting session where they found out loads of important information, and took part in different activities.  The children really enjoyed their afternoon and were very interested in the facts they found out.

Music Festival 2017
