Yesterday we set the children the task of completing a number of challenges finding out how other countries celebrate Christmas and their traditions. On Wednesday it was the Christmas party for Years 3 and 4. The children wore their party clothes and danced the afternoon away. We also played a number of games including corners, pass the parcel and musical bumps. Prizes were also given for great dance moves.
This week all the children have accessed Rockstars to set their baseline time for answering questions up to 12 x 12. They have enjoyed playing on it and are constantly trying to improve their knowledge, beat their score, earns coins and buy new clothes and equipment for their Rockstar in School and at home. This week we have been designing and creating gift bags, tree decorations, cards and making Christmas Wishes. We have also been completing Christmas themed activities and listened to many Christmas songs. #CountdowntoChristmas
Last week, Years 5 and 6 visited Moorside View, a local residential home, to spread a little Christmas cheer with their carol singing.
