Rounders Club
Rounders after school club is in full swing with children from Years 3, 4 and 5 taking part. Each week we have done some enjoyable training exercises before playing some matches. Each week a player or players receives the ‘golden bat award’ for showing good skills, sportsmanship or effort.

Sound Science
Year 4 had a noisy lesson today but it was all in the name of science. We explored different types of instruments and observed how they changed pitch. We then tried to make our own ‘pan pipes’, using straws and a lot of puff!
Reception Class first day
Today Reception Class started their exciting learning journey at Beal Vale. They all had a picture with their Parents/Carers and are really excited about joining Mr Morris’ class.
Roald Dahl Day in year 1.
Today year 1 celebrated Roald Dahl day. We looked at the book fantastic Mr fox. We shared the book together, created a character profile, designed and created animal masks and finished the day with an animal feast. Year 1 had a wonderful day and really enjoyed the story.
